An XYL Event brings women together to step outside their comfort zone and show themselves they're capable of more. Our events are designed to be inclusive, challenging, and community-driven—welcoming all ages and experience levels.

XYL events take four main forms: Strength, Endurance, Outdoors, and Resilience—from lifting meets and races to hikes, challenges, and purpose-driven experiences. No matter the format, every event is about more than performance. At the heart of XYL is confidence, community, and purpose, including a For the One component where we partner with a local cause to make an impact beyond the event.

XYL events are non-sanctioned and intentionally designed to be inclusive.
No weigh-ins. No prior competition experience required.
Divisions are based on age and experience—not perfection.

Many women step into an XYL event having never competed before. Others return year after year to test themselves in new ways. Every woman is welcomed, supported, and challenged at her level.

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian present.

Most limits aren’t physical—they’re internal.
They’re the quiet stories we tell ourselves about what we’re capable of, what we’re “ready” for, or who we think we are.

An XYL event is designed to interrupt that story.

When you train for something uncomfortable, show up when doubt is loud, and finish something you once questioned—you don’t just complete an event.

FOR THE ONE

For the One is inspired by Luke 15—the story of leaving the ninety-nine to go after the one. At every XYL event, we partner with a local charity to ensure the strength built on the platform reaches beyond the room and into the life of someone who needs it. All the door fees goes directly to support that local charity.

First EVER event of it's kind is our all-women's fitness event weekend to bring women of all ages and skill levels together, challenge them outside of their comfort zone, and show themselves what they're truly capable of. We will have events you can compete in, experiences to join in, and amazing women to meet from our community all around the country.

Women Xpanding Limits Weekend is where strength, grit, and growth collide. Whether you're testing your endurance in the HYROX PFT, throwing down in our all-women’s lifting event, or competing as a hybrid athlete, this weekend is built to challenge you — and change you. Beyond the competition, you’ll experience powerful mindset coaching, connect with experts in health, performance, and purpose, and refuel with our community BBQ + live music. No matter your age, experience, or background, you’ll leave this weekend with more confidence, clarity, and community than ever before.

OUR MISSION AT XYL

At Xpand Your Limits (XYL), our mission is to help women step beyond self-doubt and into who they were created to be through challenge, community, and intentional growth. We believe confidence is built through action, courage is developed outside of comfort, and real transformation happens through small, consistent commitments that compound over time. Through training, events, coaching, and shared experiences, XYL creates spaces where women learn to trust themselves, strengthen both body and mind, and pursue growth with clarity, faith, and purpose—one degree at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this event beginner-friendly?

Yes. XYL events are intentionally designed for all experience levels. Many women participate in their very first event with us. Our events are non-sanctioned, inclusive, and structured to meet you where you’re at—no prior competition experience required.

What if I’m not strong enough?

That is the #1 hesitation that holds women back. We automatically disqualify ourselves because we don't feel like we are "ready yet." If you can lift the bar, you're ready for one of our lifting events. If you can walk the distance, you're ready for one of our endurance events. For the events that do need a certain level of fitness to be there, it will be specified in the specific event info. There will be women of all strength and fitness levels at the event ranging from the bar to 400lbs+. That's what makes our days special - it's all women, all levels and always for a cause.

Can friends, family, or spectators attend?

Yes! Friends, family, and spectators are welcome and encouraged. XYL events are built around community and support, and having people cheer you on only adds to the experience.

What if I fail?

That's progress! It's okay to fail a lit and happens all the time. We tell our athletes that if you push hard enough, you should fail. That allows you to set a goal for the next time. We also have amazing spotters and volunteers to keep you safe while you seek the edge.
