Team based challenges
What is Operation SEAL?
Operation SEAL is a SEAL-inspired, assessment-style experience led by a former Navy SEAL. Participants are tested through physically and mentally demanding, team-based evolutions focused on resilience, composure, decision-making, and leadership under pressure.
Do I need prior military or tactical experience?
No military experience is required. However, this is a high-standard environment. You should be physically capable, mentally tough, and willing to be challenged, evaluated, and pushed outside your comfort zone.
Is this a competition or a team-based challenge?
You will carry a rucksack, complete demanding tasks, follow instructions precisely, and operate while uncomfortable and fatigued. Mental toughness, teamwork, and adaptability matter just as much as physical strength.
Do I need to be part of XYL to attend?
No—this event is open to anyone who resonates with the XYL mission and wants to grow in a supportive, encouraging environment. All are welcome.
Participants should arrive prepared for physically demanding, outdoor-based evolutions.
Rucksack (required)
Water (adequate supply to stay hydrated throughout the event)
Food/snacks to fuel sustained effort
Comfortable athletic clothing suitable for movement and varying conditions
Durable footwear (running shoes or trail shoes recommended)
Weather-appropriate layers
Any personal medical needs (inhaler, EpiPen, etc.)
This is a performance-based environment—pack light, pack smart, and come ready to operate under pressure.
